The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of EEG Spectrum International Inc. The owners are primarily practicing healthcare providers whose involvement in the company came about due to the impact that Neurofeedback had on their practice and their clients.

The company has developed a reputation among professionals for high quality, reliable systems, software and support.

EEGer is designed by Howard Lightstone. He spent over 30 years designing, developing, and trouble-shooting complex real-time systems for aerospace. He is an expert in meeting real-time requirements in a Windows environment.
